ABOUT
Shared Ancestry / Sacred Art
Rooted in the founding of Aomi Shrine and the 1300th anniversary of Aomi-go, THOU(SA)NDS connects the history, everyday culture, craftsmanship, landscapes, and memory passed down through the towns of Kamo, Sanjo, and Tagami with contemporary music.
This is not a single commemorative event confined to October 10, 2026. Through music, we aim to carry this region's story forward to the next generation as an ongoing cultural project.
